Delegates are asked to be as familiar as possible with the broad aspects of their country’s views and policies. They should have an appreciation of their international standing and general outlook on the world. Essentially, as it is a Crisis – be ready for anything! In particular it is assumed that delegates will be paying close attention to current news stories.
For those who need broader hints, please be advised that the Crisis may well involve a theme relating to international terrorism. In addition, the likelihood is it may also involve the internet…
Application forms and other information will be sent out today by email.
If you do not receive an email please get in touch and we will be pleased to pass on all details to you.
Please note the application deadline of 30 September 2015.

Do not despair. It may be over, but you can relive some of those happy conference moments.

…BMUN7 is over. Extremely well done to all award winners as well as those new delegates who spoke in committee for the very first time.
Looking to the future, save the date of BMUN8 – Monday 7th December 2015 (unusually the first Monday in December). Hope to see your school there!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all tomorrow to our conference.
Please remember to bring your resolutions on memory sticks.
Also please bring money along for this year’s BMUN Charity War Child.
Any questions – get in touch.
The Conference Map has now been updated, please use the link above.
To all delegates coming along to BMUN VII for the Crisis Committee, a reminder that you will NOT be informed of the actual crisis until the day itself. All you know is that the geographical centre of the crisis will be the continent of Africa. So focus your preparation on getting to know your country as well as possible. Consider too some likely scenarios, including natural disaster plus potential terrorist activity on a large-scale. Be aware of your likely allies as well as those countries who might hold opposing views to your own.
The BMUN VII Delegate Guide is now available for download from the downloads or section or by following this link.
Not long to go now, we’re looking forward to seeing you all soon!
General Assembly Briefing Papers added
Within General Assembly two topics will be discussed through the American System:
- The Question of a Mandatory Polio Vaccine in all States
- The Question of Retention without Trial
As part of their conference preparation delegates are strongly encouraged to consider and bring along potential operative clauses for one or both of the General Assembly topics.
As always, any questions do get in touch
The briefing documents for BMUN VII are now available from the menus at the top of the site.
